Terms and Conditions
For all new bookings a deposit of £50 is required per room per night. For weekly reservations £100, and for Christmas and New Year £200. Payment may be made by way of cheque or debit/credit card (except AMEX).
Guests are respectfully reminded that a confirmed reservation constitutes a binding contract. In the event of cancellation, any deposit paid will be forfeited. We reserve the right to charge in full for any reservations cancelled within 30 days of the arrival date and will do this especially in high season, Christmas and New Year. We advise you to consider travel insurance in the event of cancellation.
The rate quoted/advertised as DBB (Dinner, Bed and Breakfast) is per person per night (based on double occupancy) inclusive of full Scottish breakfast, dinner and VAT. This also applies to ‘special offers/breaks’. For B&B (Bed and Breakfast) only, the rate quoted is also based on double occupancy inclusive of full Scottish breakfast and VAT. For single occupancy an additional supplement may apply per night where a twin/double room is requested.
For all ‘Special Breaks’ including Spring/Autumn Breaks, the rate advertised is based on double occupancy and cannot be used in conjunction with any other discounted rates. Due to the limited number of bedrooms, only a certain number of bedrooms can be allocated for ‘Special Breaks’.
Sorry, but except for Guide Dogs, we do not allow pets in the house but some guests bring dogs and leave them in their cars overnight. There are woods opposite the hotel for dog-walking.
Children under 10 years may stay by prior arrangement and must be supervised at all times. We are unable to provide cots or high-chairs for young children.
SMOKING AND DAMAGE TO PROPERTY
Due to the non-smoking legislation in Scotland, Culdearn is a totally non-smoking establishment. Any damage caused through smoking (of any substance) will be charged for accordingly as will any damage to furnishings etc., caused through negligence.
As we are fully licenced, guests are not permitted to bring their own alcohol into the hotel to consume in their room(s). Any alcohol brought onto the premises will have a corkage charge applied of £25.00 per bottle and this is by explicit prior arrangement only.
For dinner, please note that the dress code is smart casual although we kindly request no blue jeans or shorts.
Guest bedrooms are available from 3.30pm onwards and for guests taking dinner arrival by 6pm for dinner at 7pm. Guests are requested to vacate their rooms by 10.30am on the day of departure. Alternative times may be arranged in advance.
The proprietors do not accept any responsibility for loss or damage to any guest’s vehicle or its contents whilst situated on the hotel grounds.
